Customer Service Specialist

A Hush Customer Service Specialist is a critical part of our mission to deliver timely, accurate, and friendly customer service to all Hush customers. This vital position requires an action-oriented, flexible problem-solver who will assist customers in resolving any and all customer facing problems. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle a high volume of customer inquiries with a consistent, accurate, and friendly attitude.
  2. Be pro-active with your work and your peers; We are a team and will always encourage our employees to push the boundaries of how well we can service our customers.

    • Ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs
    • Uphold company values and respect every customer
    • Exude patience and ownership with each customer
    • Ability to resolve conflicts and set appropriate expectations with customers
    • Ability to determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
      Communication Skills
  2. Problem Solving Skills
    • Ability to approach problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate customer outcome
    • Ability to make appropriate decisions on behalf of the customer quickly and effectively
    • Desire to continually learn
    • Solution oriented and self-motivated
    • Ability to effectively prioritize work time to ensure efficiency


  • College Degree preferred
  • A strong sense of customer empathy
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Desire to innovate and improve your environment
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • E-commerce customer support experience is a plus
  • Zendesk Experience is a plus
  • Social media trend awareness is a huge plus
